¨ Organic oil The oil from the south Spain olive fields is produced with an exquisite care, extremely respecting the environment. The result is an excellent oil quality, flavour and smell concentration. A strict Bio-Protocol is followed for the olives growing, there is not any use of chemicals and the oil mill only accept olives collected with mechanic vibration, avoiding all other damages of hitting. The result is healthy oil that unifies tradition with high and cutting edge technologies. * Mantua Carpetana DO Extra Virgin olive oil Bio with cold extraction, from Madrid, produced from olives variety Cornicabra and Manzanilla Carcareña. Green herb, tomato and apple smell, bitter and hot flavour in mouth. It is presented in glass bottle 500 mls. * La Aceitera de la Abuela DO Extra virgin olive oil Bio, from Madrid, cold extraction, produced mostly with olive variety Cornicabra. Sensorial nose profile, with intense fruits (smells that reminds to green herb, almonds and apple); very good balance of bitter and hots in mouth. It has a high content of oleic acid, that gives the oil a high stability in time. It is presented in drums of 2lts and 5 lts. |
¨ Organic canned fish Cuca has been the first Spanish company to obtain the C.R.A.E.G.A. certification. This is the Regulatory Board for the Galicia Organic Farming. In Spain, every region has its own regulation board, but all of them fulfill the same rules according to the European legislation on organic farming. We have started with 5 products that fulfill the most representative fish & seafood from Galicia. In the near future, the range will be expanded with Octopus, Light Tuna Belly Fillets and mackerel Fillets. * Light Tuna (Yellowfin) in Organic Olive Oil: Our Yellowfin tuna is caught in the best international fishing-grounds and fully respects all international “Dolphin safe” regulations. Each fish is selected on the basis of quality and size in order to obtain a premium level product rich in flavour, with finest colour and texture. * White Tuna “Bonito” in Organic Olive Oil: The super taste of our white tuna “Bonito del Norte” is a result of rod-line fishing, one-by-one at selected fishing grounds during the summer season. We select only the best Bonito and the best size for optimal texture and taste. Hand cleaned up to three times to obtain the whitest colour. Artisan methods are used during the whole process. * Sardines in Organic Olive Oil Our sardines are directly caught from the Galician-Portuguese coast and are hand-packed the same day to preserve their freshness. They are not added with preservatives or artificial colorings, only the best extra virgin olive oil. We work with one factory that exclusively produces CUCA sardines. * Mussels in Organic Pickled Sauce Our mussels are exclusively from the Galician waters. In the factory every one is cleaned by hand. Then, they are selected by size and packed manually. Our Pickled Sauce is 100% organic, including olive oil, vinegar, a leaf of laurel, pepper and clove. |
